Tried to update software by bluetooth from laptop however get continuous Flash Failure. About a month ago it started to act up, paired ok with blackberry and HTC Desire, works fine with Blackberry however pairs ok with HTC, says connected but no audio or visible connection. Hi All, Just joined this forum, Have had a ck3100 for about 2 yrs and worked a treat until lately. There are three important points when updating by Bluetooth. I will sent an email to technical support but I thought let's ask the forum first. All connection, other then my laptop were removed from the Parrot. Please try again.) Memory available is 1034KB. Blue tooth connection -> OK Device authentication -> OK Software verification -> OK Flash erasing -> OK Software update -> X (An error occured during the flashing progress. Set the Parrot to 'software update' and started the update before starting the actual update. After several attempts I was able to connect my laptop to the Parrot using Blue Tooth. I just want to upgrade to the latest version. Current version is 4.21C The Parrot CK3100 LCD was already build in by the previous owner of the car (Audi A3) and everything works fine. Hi there, New to this forum, found various replies about a similar problem I have. It was only when Technical told me on the phone that the ulp file was for bluetooth updates and bin was for serial updates that I put two and two together. (On your car kit, activate the option 'Software update' that you can find in the menu “Settings”. 2°) Download and install the Parrot Flash Update wi zard. It might be worth highlighting this in the instructions as both files can be selected quite easily and there is no explanation as to the difference of the two? I think the problem was that before I was manually selecting the wrong version of the file (bin instead of ulp) when updating as I had downloaded it in the house before going out to the car. However, I am pleased to report that I now have V5 installed on my kit so thanks for your help. Hi Eddy, Please ensure you have downloaded the ULP software update file and not the BIN file.
